A childhood shaped by struggle, a career built on service
Born on 10 December 1989 in Jaipur to Shri B.S. Rawat, a teacher, and Nirmala Rawat, a homemaker, Narendra Singh Rawat's roots trace back to Uttarakhand. His childhood was far from easy — and it was his parents' quiet struggle that became the defining influence on the man he would become.
"Watching my parents struggle taught me the value of education long before I understood it as a career."
He studied at Rawat Sr. Sec. School, Sodala, went on to Subodh College, and completed his MBA — a journey shaped in part by the philosophy of Swami Vivekananda, whose ideas on education and self-reliance continue to inform his approach to leadership today.
